Sprig & Seek is a free place to play, create, and print English word searches. It is built around a familiar feeling: taking a short break, following your curiosity, and finding one small thing at a time.

For the way you want to play
Play one of six themed puzzles, choose a difficulty, or bring your own word list. Use it for a coffee break, a classroom vocabulary exercise, a party activity, or a quiet moment away from your screen.
A straightforward puzzle maker
Every listed word is placed in the grid. Easy puzzles use words going right or down; Medium includes diagonals; Hard includes backwards words. Custom grids may grow to fit long or numerous words. Print a clean puzzle and, optionally, a separate answer key.
An early version, made to be useful
Sprig & Seek is currently an early release. Word Search is the available game. More puzzle formats may follow, but they are not available yet. There is no account, subscription, or active advertising in this version.
