This notice describes the current Sprig & Seek service. It will be updated if advertising, analytics, or other data-handling features are introduced.

Puzzle words and progress

Puzzles are generated in your browser. Sprig & Seek does not send your word list, title, selected letters, or found words to an application server. The current puzzle and progress are stored in your browser’s local storage so you can return to them. Starting a new puzzle replaces this data. You can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Play still works if browser storage is unavailable.

Hosting and access

The site hosting provider necessarily receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details, and requested URL. Sprig & Seek is available without creating a Sprig & Seek account or signing in. The site does not collect an account password. Technical hosting records are handled by the hosting provider.

Fonts

The page requests optional fonts from Google Fonts. These requests send standard connection information, including your IP address, to Google. If they are unavailable, the page uses system fonts. See Google Fonts privacy information.

Advertising, cookies, and analytics

Sprig & Seek currently has no active advertising or analytics scripts. The reserved advertisement areas do not make ad requests. Sprig & Seek does not set advertising cookies. Before advertisements are enabled, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated to identify the actual providers and explain their data use.

Printing and personal information

Printing uses your browser’s print dialog. Avoid entering sensitive or personal information in a puzzle you plan to share or print. Only include words you have permission to use.

Contact messages

If you email Gordon, your email address, message, and any attachments are received through Gmail. They are used to respond to your request and investigate any issue you report. The site does not have a separate contact form or send email automatically. Gmail is provided by Google; see Google’s privacy policy for its handling of email data.

Privacy questions and requests

Sprig & Seek is operated by Gordon. Contact muziqfever@gmail.com for privacy questions or to request deletion of a message you have sent. Current puzzle data is stored on your device and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data. Hosting-provider records and account information are managed separately by that provider.
