Vocabulary practice
Choose words from one lesson. After finding them, ask the player to use three in a sentence; the grid is a starting point for discussing meaning.
Turn a word list into a puzzle for a lesson, a party, or a quiet break. Add 3–25 English words, choose a difficulty, and create a puzzle you can play here or print.
A birthday activity, a classroom warm-up, or just an inside joke. Turn a list of words into something worth finding.

| Difficulty | Words | Grid | Directions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 15 | 14 × 14 | Right and down |
| Medium | 20 | 16 × 16 | Forward and diagonal |
| Hard | 25 | 18 × 18 | All eight, including backwards |
Custom grids can grow to fit your list, up to 25 × 25. Long or numerous words can make a worksheet denser. For a first activity, try 8–15 shorter words on Easy.

Use guests’ names, favorite foods, or places that matter to the group. Give the puzzle a title and print a separate answer page for the host.
Mix instruments with terms from a rehearsal, such as PIANO, TEMPO, and CHORUS. Keep spellings familiar when the goal is a short activity.
Every accepted word is placed in the generated grid. Duplicate entries become one word. If an entry is too short, too long, or contains unsupported characters, the maker shows an error so you can fix it.
The current puzzle and progress are saved in this browser when storage is available. New puzzle replaces the current save. To keep a copy you can share, print or save the worksheet as a PDF.
Yes. Choosing a theme fills the maker with a fresh word mix. You can edit that list before generating. Changing your own words does not change the public theme collection.
